Absolutely I love them. So, to me, they’ve obviously done shows in this group before. Some of them are newer, some have been in more shows, as you’d expect. Bertram was late to joining the group because he’s just kind of an awkward guy, but he had the biggest crush on Sigrid from even before they first spoke. And now that they’re in the same group, he’s got an easy path to asking her out but…
He just fumbles it EVERY time.
This is like his second show with the players and the fifth for her. He has been trying to get the words out but he can’t. The first time he saw her in the ballgown he did faint.
She just genuinely found it adorable but also hilarious. She let him flounder for a while but then eventually she was the one to ask him out, because this guy would not have done it alone. They have such an awkward but genuinely sweet relationship.
We have joked that Alaric would interrogate both of them because that’s his brother and his best friend. He’s going to be protective.

They are life partners as well as business partners, in fact they are the founders and organizers of Fusion Fest! (the big festival that celebrates all troll genres coming together (also the festival Leslie hatched at))
They're both extremely social, Ruth being especially high energy, and they are both passionate workaholics that keep busy 24/7. They're good loving moms but you can easily guess why Flea peaced out and decided to go to uni all the way in Vibe City - they can be very intense to live with.
The album Que Pasa by Babe Ruth is the inspiration for their sound and design. I own a CD of it and love blasting it when I'm alone. 💃

I noticed you've been making more art of Machete and Vasco after they met again as adults - is this canon? Do they get to rekindle their friendship after all, or is it still brief and bittersweet? (I love your characters and art, btw!)

It's canon, I believe. After their confusing and apprehensive friends-to-lovers involvement ended in their early 20's, their paths end up crossing again unexpectedly in their mid 30's and things gradually grow from there.
#answered#kf-tea#it's not the steadiest alliance#Vasco has been stuck in a forced lavender marriage for nearly a decade but he's out of the closet to his wife by that point#their union is more like close platonic friendship than that of a husband and wife and they're largely comfortable like that#they've agreed to see other people for the common good#they're great parents and keep up the appearances well I don't think anyone suspects anything#in that day and age divorce simply isn't an option especially if you're a public figure and have a family reputation to keep up#Machete obviously isn't permitted to have sentimental or intimate relations of any kind#the two of them live in separate cities so it's more like a sporadic long distance thing#Vasco is a politician and an ambassador so he takes regular business trips to Rome which is convenient#maybe Machete gets to visit him in Florence on occasion but usually it's the other way around#but between those weeks and sometimes months pass#if their relationship lasts until the end they get a good 8-9 years in so I'd say it counts as a committed long term thing for sure#or at least that's the current idea and order of events#Vasco#Machete

i have absolutely no idea how long ago this was from but like. y'all what even is this offhand ask lmao ( ; ⚆ _ ⚆ )
but alright screw it, just to set the record straight: i loved Big Time Rush lots and lots, that much is obvious. the nick show itself was such an integral part of my childhood, and i absolutely have no regrets about rediscovering the band last 2020 and diving in headfirst right into the deep end *Hot Summer by Heffron Drive starts blasting out* of their music and inevitably joining the fandom. i'm especially forever thankful for all the interesting experiences and fun projects and amazing friends i've made along the way, so i'm sincerely always going to have a certain fondness for BTR in the deepest crevices of my vv heart and soul.....
although yes, certainly *that* whole situation and other such related unfortunate controversies had kinda soured it to the point where i got uncomfortable calling myself a rusher—but that ultimately wasn't what made me fall out, it was just plain 'ol ✨burnout✨ idk keeping up with the fandom just got a little bit too hectic and way too toxic for me, so i moved on to other things better for my peace of mind. anyway, i'm mostly into cool J-pop stuff and ofc my most beloved svensk pojkband FO&O nowadays (also for language-learning purposes hehe :^D) and tbh these have been so incredibly wonderful and healing for me.....but i confess, i still kinda miss BTR and check in on them from time to time. hell, i even have a whooole bunch of chaotic BTR ocs that casually live rent-free in my mind now and forever and i'm constantly tempted to return to this rotting blog just so I can endlessly infodump lore abt them but i'm Annoying™ and who'd want that anyway soooo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
so yes, i do love Big Time Rush. despite everything, i still like the show and the music, i like all the silly wacky unhinged creations and nostalgic memories i have of it, i like the fandom generally and seeing notifs still pop up on this inactive blog as the ever-faithful rushers continue to thrive and be inspired by the band and its legacy (shoutout to all the new-wave tumblrushers hehe i see u guys much love and hugs and i hope y'all keep up all the fun vibes and creativity here mwah xoxo (*＾3＾)/～♡), and i really don't wanna allow anything to ruin all those good feelings i got from them, even if that means being critical and letting go of certain aspects. i don't have to love everything about it, really. just enough for me is hopefully enough ❤️🩹

I love how Wild Kratts lies on both ends of the spectrum of cultural relevance; On one end it raised a decade’s worth of an entire generation on biology knowledge, its animal activism inspired a scientist to name an insect after the Kratt Bros, is part of a quarter-century line-up of several different shows which have paved the path for the Kratt Brothers’ cultural impact on of itself, inspired a lot of furries, has a massive online following, and is one of the most top-rated PBS Kids shows to date; On the other end, it’s on a smaller network, is incredibly hard to pirate, is overlooked massively due to being a part of an ‘edutainment‘ channel aimed towards younger kids, has a fandom which, whilst big, can be very hard to find, and overall has less mainstream appeal in comparison to shows like SpongeBob, My Little Pony, or even The Simpsons.

Finally properly sobbing after not being able to cry all day is such a great feeling
#long distance is actually so terrible I’m dying over here#you might be like ‘anne you’ve been in an ldr for three years now how are you not used to it?’#and the answer is that the pain gets worse every time! and the most annoying thing is that usually it peaks the first night apart and goes#easier from there; but if my mental health is bad enough in other areas it will stick around for up to two weeks which I can already tell i#happening. so that’s good#and as you may remember from me posting about it; things were a little rocky for a while because of my OCD as well as me just being a#terrible person. not really; I need to speak to myself with kindness#but also I think I’m just a bad person. like just through and through not a good person#not that I really think good or bad people exist it’s just everyone does some harm and some good and you can’t nearly divide that into good#or bad#or at least that’s what I tell myself when I think back on the shitty things I’ve done#which is a lot.#but long story short my idiocy did not cause them to dump me even though they easily could have#anyway fuck I just miss my partner and it’s unfair they’re not holding me in this moment#now I just have to keep making amends and working on myself so I don’t do it in the future. I didn’t cheat if anyone’s wondering; I feel#we’re gonna call later anyway so hopefully that will help. and I do feel better for sobbing#like that’s always my assumption when other people blog like this lol#apologies for the tag rant but it is my own post lol#this isn’t even mentioning my academic stress because that does feel secondary to the everything else#because I think I get like a camouflage worry where my brain will tell me I’m freaking out about school#but really it’s a cover for the really painful stuff underneath#anyway. this too shall pass and no emotion is forever and I will see my partner again and we’ll have a long life together :-)#anne speaks

I need to stop sleeping all day its giving me wild as fuck dreams
#literally had a dream that i was a 14yr old mexican boy who was kidnapped by a crime boss and worked for him#making my way up the ladders until i was his right hand man#until one day i got in an accident and the paramedic who found me stuck by me while the cops questioned me#bc like who is this kid why is he so malnourished who is meant to tale care of you#and then they were restraining me in the back of an ambulance and i was crying and trying to breathe my way out of a panic#attack and then managed to calm down and the paramedic (who looked like that guy from disco elysium. the one you play as)#started asking me questions about my life and i talked about how johnny was in charge and he wore half a black rabbit mask but upside down#so the singular ear ran down his throat. and i talked about other thing idk but then CRASH the ambulance is suddenly gone#(OH I REMEMBER. i talked about how there were these women (prostitutes) who were nice to me and would give me food and drink#that i wasnt supposed to have and they wouldnt let me drink what the men were having but thats okay it tasted nasty anyway#and how on my last mission i was shot in the leg and it delayed me a day and johnny punished me by locking me up#and i couldnt leave and i nearly starved to death that week but the women snuck me small amounts of food and drink#even tho they would have been killed if they were caught. anyway that was like two weeks ago and my leg still hadnt healed)#im tied up under the clothesline at the top of the stairs of my irl house while the paramedic is tied to a chair by the front door#johnny comes in and starts asking questions but upon receiving no answers he grabs a metal bat and breaks the paramedics knee#and im just crying and screaming for it all to stop scared out of my life and johnny asks if i want the beating instead#and the paramedic says “dont you lay a finger on him. (name) look away i dont want you seeing this”#and then johnny starts torturing him amd all i hear is his screams even tho im blocking my ears and squeezing my eyes shut#and then im in johnnys room three years later and hes turned me into a dog but also an axolotl and ive forgotten my human roots#....like literally what the FUCK was that????#moss' madness#its called vague posting FOR A REASON
